G.O.D _ 니가 있어야 할 곳 (The Place Where You Need to Be) OFFICIAL AUDIO
‘니가 있어야 할 곳 (The Place Where You Need to Be)’ is the fifth track from G.O.D’s fourth album “Chapter 4”. Although it was not an official title track, it still was one of the promotional tracks that received many love from fans and listeners.
My first G.O.D song I encountered was ‘어머님께 (To Mother)’. However, the song that got me into G.O.D was ‘니가 있어야 할 곳 (The Place Where You Need to Be)’. The song was a nice break from the continuous ballads they are known for (but of course they have their own fill of faster tracks as well). Joon’s “Like this y’all to the break of dawn can you feel me everybody come on!” got me jamming whenever along with the funky beat and vocals. ‘니가 있어야 할 곳 (The Place Where You Need to Be)’ is one of my favorites from G.O.D and always will be.

[Underrated Kpop] 서영은 (Seo Young Eun) _ 혼자가 아닌 나 (I’m Not Alone)
Although 서영은 (Seo Young Eun) is not a familiar name, she is a notable OST singer and has sung one of the infamous OSTs in the Korean drama industry. The OST, ‘혼자가 아닌 나 (I’m Not Alone)’, is from the MBC Wed/Thurs drama, “눈사람 (Snowman/Snowflakes)” starring Gong Hyo Jin, Jo Jae Hyun, Oh Yeon Soo, and Kim Jae Won. Although the drama itself was not a big success, ‘혼자가 아닌 나 (I’m Not Alone)’ is one track that will not disappoint anyone.

클레오 (CLEO) is one of the lesser, but widely known girl groups of the late 1990’s and early 2000’s. CLEO consisted of three members, Kim Hana, Han Hyunjung (replaced Park Yeeun after the 1st album) and Jung Yebin (replaced Chae Eunjung after the 4th album). All members were able to display their strong vocals, dance, and beauty, but what defied CLEO from other groups was their notably mature, but pure image.
The song ‘Good Time’ is from CLEO’s first album “Cleo”, released on March 1999. The song reflects on the member’s pure and innocent images, and the album succeeded to bring in many fans.
